Madkekar's Parashurama Experience is an exclusive health
and heritage holiday resort designed to give a memorable taste of
the Karavali (Coastal Karnataka) region.
This small group resort, is part of the Madkekar's Sullia Estate
with the Madkekar Family bungalow as the nucleus. The family run
resort aims at giving every visitor a complete picture of India

The Madkekar family of Manchi Sullia based at the 19th century bungalow
will ensure a refreshing holiday experience for you.
The madkekar family that migrated from Goa five centuries ago, has
been active in social and traditional activities over generations.
The estate bungalow - home of Madkekar family - hosts a variety
of rituals that reflect the Indian culture and tradition.
We practice environment friendly measures such as organic farming,
soil erosion prevention, ground water recharging and use of non-conventional
energy sources.
Research in the Ayurveda,the Indian Medicine, in the context of
modern medicine is being pursued by the family.

How to get to us?
The resort has a convenient road access and is just 5 kilometers
from the Melkar Junction on the National highway No.48 that connects
Bangalore and Mangalore. Mangalore is well connected to all the
cities in India. Nearest Transport
Pick-up Service:
We have a free pick up and drop service for our guests from any
place within a radius of 50 kilometers which includes Mangalore
city. We can also pick or guide you to the resort from any place.
When to visit?
Life is most colourful between October and February
with various activities such as festivals , marriages, harvesting,
cultural activities etc.
The monsoon brings to life beautiful water falls and rich vegetation
that includes precious herbs between June and September.
The summer, from March to May, offers a variety of
tropical fruits - banana, mango, gauva, pineapple & jackfruit.
The resort is open round the year. During the dry summer between
April & May, some of the services may not be available.

Duration of Stay:
We recommend that you spend minimum of one week in the region so
as to get a realistic taste of what it has to offer. However, two
week stay will be ideal.
Disabled Traveller : Facilities are available for the comfort
of disabled travelers. Please inform your needs in detail in advance.
